EMPLOYMENT
The library is currently seeking our next Children's Librarian (Full-Time)
37.5 hours per week—including two evenings per week and two Saturdays per month
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
Youth Services experience desirable
Excellent customer service skills and working as part of the library team a must
Salary and benefits:
Starting salary range $33,000-35,000 annually based on qualifications
Vacation after 6 months. Twelve paid holidays. Retirement plan. Paid sick leave. Health coverage not provided.
The following documents must be provided before starting employment: PA State Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI Criminal Check.
Responsibilities include:
Short and long term planning for the Children’s Department
Working with the public at the front desk
Promoting the library programs
