Science in the Summer 2020: Welcome
GSK Science in the Summer is always a much anticipated event for our library users entering grades 2-6. We're still able to offer a version this year with free, virtual lessons and hands-on activities via a chemistry experiment kit to use at home and keep!
The virtual format will assign families to teams. Each team will be assigned a self-led experiment to complete. Teams will meet on Monday, 8/3 to ask and answer questions regarding their experiment. meetings again on either Tuesday or Wednesday for a virtual lesson, activities, and discussion. Thursday families have a choice of 2 sessions during which they will participate in an exciting chemistry demonstration and have a live Q&A with a local scientist.
