For children entering grades 3-5
Covers local hazards, coping skills and personal and family preparedness through a “Learn, Practice, Share” framework. Registration required: REGISTER
REGISTERING NOW: SCIENCE IN THE SUMMER!
We are thrilled to again host the Carnegie Science Center for the GSK Science in the Summer Program! This year's program will consist of a 1 hour interactive session with the choice of participating in-library or at home. All supplies will be provided.

SATURDAY NATURE STEM STORY TIMES
Join us on select Saturday mornings for this BRAND NEW program in our outdoor space along River Road! Program is geared for ages 3-6 but all are welcome. No registration.
Our most popular program is back, in-person, for SUMMER 2021! Story Times will be held in our outdoor reading area along River Road, weather permitting. We offer age-specific programs for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. No registration required, siblings are welcome!
Children entering grades 1-6 are invited to join us for our 2021 STEAM Days series of programs! Drop-in from 1:30-2:30pm Tuesdays beginning June 29 for a variety of fun-filled activity stations. Programs will be held outdoors, weather permitting. No registration required.
ROBERT MORRIS UNIVERSITY CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP
Robert Morris University will present a 3-part series of workshops on creative writing the following Wednesdays at 1pm: June 30, July 14, July 28. Open to grades 6- 11 Classes will focus on character development, plot creation, storyboards, peer review and culminate in an author's tea. Registration required.

Projects are planned with students entering grades 1-6 in mind but a variety of supplies for ALL ages and abilities will be available. Meet in the River Rd garden area or check in the lobby in case of inclement weather. NO registration.
PAWS FOR READING
Readers in grades Pre K—5 are invited to practice reading aloud to a Certified Therapy Dog at the Beaver Area Memorial Library this summer!
